What to Expect
What to Expect at Your Chiropractic Visit
We want you to feel comfortable with the decision of joining our practice. Therefore, please read the information below and if you still have any questions, please call our office for an answer.
New Patient Forms:
Your first visit to our office will begin with a small amount of paperwork to fill out. Please complete the New Patient Forms (Click Here for Our Online Forms) prior to visiting the practice. This will save you approximately 15 minutes, and allow you to complete the documents in the comfort of your own home.
Consultation:
Once the paperwork is complete, there will be a consultation with Dr. Krapf or Dr. Williams to obtain your health and wellness history. We will ask you questions as to the cause and nature of your condition and other questions related to your health and symptoms. This is a time to share what you desire from your life and what you believe is preventing you from making this a reality.
Examination:
At the conclusion of the initial consultation, there will be a thorough examination including neurologic, orthopedic and chiropactic testing to determine the cause of your problem. If further testing is required, such as x-rays, digital foot analysis, or Acugraph electro-meridan imaging, they will be ordered at that time. Your exam will also likely include Applied Kinesiology system stress analysis.
Report of Findings:
After your examination, if yours is a condition we can help, we will tell you what treatment we suggest, how long it should take and what the rate of recovery should be. If we are in agreement, we will begin treatment at that time. If you do not have a condition we feel will benefit from chiropractic care, we will make the appropriate referral or suggest other options.
In making our recommendations, we consider your current lifestyle choices, goals for the future and challenges that are standing in your way.
Ongoing:
Our entire staff strives to keep waiting times to a minimum so we ask that all patients be prompt for their appointments so we can stay on track. Your adjustments will be given by Dr. Krapf, and anything else done during that visit will depend on their recommendations. Most commonly, you will also receive a combination of non-Chiropractic services such as percussion, cold laser, and meridian therapy. Stretching , exercise instruction, or other advice may be given as part of the doctor's plan for you.
Questions are not only welcomed, they are encouraged. Knowledge is power.
We consistently update and customize your wellness programs. The foundation for our overall health is based on proper spinal alignment, nutritious foods, regular exercise, high-quality supplementation, and a variety of stress relief techniques.
We look forward to working with you so that YOU can live a life of complete health and vitality!
